Setting up POP access for Outlook 2000
1.
Go to the Control Panel and click on the Mail applet

2.
Create a new profile by clicking Add…

3.
Check Internet E-mail
4.
Click Next

5.
You need to name the mail service, enter your name, &
email address
6.
Click Apply

7.
Select the Servers tab and use pop.sccd.ctc.edu for
Incoming mail (POP3)
8.
The Outgoing mail (SMTP) will be one supplied by the ISP you
are currently using:

Example: smtp.comcast.net
9.
In the Incoming Mail Server fields, enter your email username
& password
10.
Put a check in the Remember password check box
11.
Click OK

Click Next

Click Next

14.
Click Finish
